With the new update comes a new quest, meant in celebration for New Years but arrived a tad bit late. All in all, it's a great treasure hunt quest meant to keep you looking for those crystals and have you running around the world of Aivail visiting famous places.


Starting the Quest To start the New Years quest go to Karragvur Center and speak to the NPC Strolling Actor. He will explain to you how he saw 5 falling stars from the sky, and they all landed in each one of the faction lands. Those being, Gnome, Orc, Elf, Human and Demonid. Basically you will need to go through each land and find the crystals hidden in unusual objects. If you are familiar with the maps you will easily spot the new objects placed in them, and will have no trouble finding the crystals. For those of you struggling to find the crystals I have a few hints and locations to the crystals below.


1st Crystal Location: Dwarfhill - Gnome Map. Hint: Bright Green.

2nd Crystal Location: Military Camp - Orc Map. Hint: Used to stay afloat on water.

3rd Crystal Location: Lorderlane - Elf Map. Hint: Warmth.

4th Crystal Location: Crosslines - Human Map. Hint: Symbol of Clans.

5th Crystal Location: Takht'Un - Demonid Map. Hint: Where Pharaohs Rest.


Once you have all the crystals return to Strolling Actor in Karragvur Center to be taken to New Years Forest and complete your quest. Reward: A nominal amount of experience and some gold. The treasure hunt is the actual reward on it's own, and once you complete the quest you get taken to the New Years Forest where you can speak to Jacomo, the Project Developer of AOHO, and Gekto, the lead programmer of AOHO, and if you choose option 2 when speaking to Gekto you get quite a funny line to use.
Notes:
The Crystals found in the Devine
Grace menu are not the crystals you
need to complete this quest. Those
Crystals are simply used to revive
bosses you have already killed.
Once you leave New Years Forest
you can't return again.
